I wrote my first professional ad at 13 years old when I came up with the name and tagline for legendary NYC street skater Rawlinson Rivera‘s new pro wheels. My payment? A set of those very wheels. It was a score.
Since then, I’ve also gone pro, working at some of the world’s leading advertising agencies. I’ve done a lot so far…traditional, digital, experiential and pretty much everything in-between, even scooped some hardware along the way, but always anchored by one core belief; if you’re not having fun creating the work, then the audience won’t have any fun reading it.
With my skating days long behind me, I can usually be found hanging around South Slope in Brooklyn with my dog Craig or in Prospect Park playing for my bar league soccer team, Brooklyn Hotspur - we’re ok.
Thanks for stopping by to checkout my work. Drop me a line at rtilberis@gmail.com with any queries* or if you want to talk about the Knicks title chances.
*I may still accept skate wheels as payment.
